Extended Operations and International Training.

ETOPS | International Procedures

The Extended Operations (ETOPS) Training tends to familiarize pilots with the regulations, procedures, and safety considerations that they should know before performing ETOPS. This training includes the purpose of ETOPS regulations, which enlarge the area of operation for twin-engine aircraft. This training also includes the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Extended Diversion Time Operations (EDTO) standards. We also provide a unique and customized training program for International Procedures for your flight department. DTP Group will ask to review your international procedures manual, training manual, and/or operations manual to ensure we deliver training that meets your operator-specific training program.

CRM

Crew Resource Management | Human Factors

Aeronautical Decision Making and Risk Management Training includes a review of Advisory Circular 60-22, Aeronautical Decision Making and the FAA Pilot Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge (PHAK) on decision making. The FAA Pilot Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge (PHAK) promotes the DECIDE process, which we apply to a business aviation environment. The risk management section reviews hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk mitigation strategies.

UPRT

Upset Prevention Recovery Training (UPRT) | Extended Envelope Training (EET)

UPRT has overtaken Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT) as the leading cause of fatal aircraft accidents worldwide. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) have made UPRT one of their “hot topic” issues in an effort to reduce the number of fatalities. This training covers the academic principles published in the Airplane Upset Recovery Training Aid developed by the Upset Prevention and Recovery Training Association.
